Christmas collection CR’25 -Cocktail and eveningwear
This Christmas collection was one of the last collections I developed before moving to the UK to pursue my second master's degree. Looking back, it represents a chapter of my career that strengthened my confidence as a designer and reminded me why I love the entire product development journey.
What excites me most about fashion isn't just the final garment—it's every step that leads to it. From researching the concept and building the story, to creating artworks, sketching silhouettes, selecting fabrics and trims, collaborating with skilled karigars, and refining every detail through sampling and fit sessions, I enjoy being involved in the process from start to finish.
For this collection, I explored geometric grid variations inspired by the magic of the night sky. Galaxy-inspired motifs, shooting stars, circular elements, and celestial details came together to create a festive yet sophisticated mood. I also challenged myself by moving away from my usual soft pastel palette and experimenting with richer, deeper tones, adding depth and elegance while staying true to the festive spirit.
The most rewarding moment came after months of development—seeing the approved size set samples move into production and watching the finished collection ship exactly as I had envisioned. There is an unmatched sense of fulfilment in seeing an idea that once existed only on paper become beautifully crafted garments ready to be worn. That transformation, from concept to completion, is what continues to inspire me as a designer.
Ruffles
One of the design elements I have always loved experimenting with is ruffles. I enjoy exploring how they can transform the silhouette, movement, and personality of a garment. Rather than using ruffles as just a decorative detail, I like to treat them as a design language—playing with different scales, placements, and constructions to create unique textures and shapes.
I particularly enjoyed experimenting with ruffles on both printed and solid fabrics, especially using tulle, which adds softness, volume, and fluidity without overwhelming the design. Each style became an opportunity to test new ideas and push creative boundaries while maintaining commercial appeal.
The collection of designs below showcases some of my favourite ruffle experiments. It was incredibly rewarding to see these concepts resonate with customers, with several of these styles becoming best sellers. Moments like these remind me that thoughtful experimentation can lead to designs that are both creatively fulfilling and commercially successful.

ing Summer 25Over the course of my career, I have designed and contributed to numerous collections, but my time at Needle & Thread London gave me the greatest opportunity to push my creativity and transform ideas into commercially successful products.
I was encouraged to explore new concepts, experiment with fabrics and embellishments, and develop designs that balanced creativity with the brand's signature aesthetic. Working closely with print designers, the sampling team, garment technologists, and production departments, I was involved throughout the entire product development journey—from concept and design to fit sessions, size set approvals, and final production.
I believe great collections are never created in isolation. They are the result of strong collaboration, clear communication, and a shared commitment to excellence. No matter the stage of development, I worked confidently across teams, ensuring ideas were translated accurately while meeting the brand's quality standards and commercial objectives.
Fashion is a fast-paced industry, and delivering collections within tight deadlines requires both creativity and organisation. I consistently managed multiple projects, prioritised effectively, and delivered high-quality designs while supporting the wider business and maintaining an efficient product development process.
The projects below highlight some of my favourite design experiments, including innovative knitwear, stretch printed tulle, and solid crepe. Each piece reflects my curiosity to explore new techniques while creating garments that are both visually distinctive and commercially relevant.
